How often have you thought of creating something - a website, a book, an iPhone app; and yet for some reason you didn't do it.
Perhaps, your family came in your way, or your friends talked you out of it, or something else turned up that made you give up on your entrepreneurial dreams.
But, if you know deep down in your heart that to live a happy and satisfied life you must let out the artist in you and share your creative talents with the world, what stops you from doing so?
Now is as good a time as any other to break from the self-imposed limitations that you or others have put on you, and free the entrepreneur within you.
It's the time to stop waiting for something magical to happen, and take action to create the magic yourself.
In the last three years, I've gone through several ups and downs in my life. And that's why I write today's post not just for you, but for me, too. This year I have taken few serious decisions regarding my career and what I want to do in life. I will write more about this in some future post.
But what I've learned from my past, and what I want you to know now, is that the only person stopping you from getting started and creating your work, is you, and not anyone else.
We always blame others for our own failures in life. But that won't do if we want to succeed in life. At some point, we have to take responsibility for our life, and do things that will help us share our talents with the world, and at the same time, help us make a living from it. And that's what I intend to do this year, with my own talents and experience.
Ask yourself: What if you could use your unique skills and talents to create new things in this world, every day? And what if you spent your time on projects that you knew could make someone's life better. Won't it be worth your time to execute those projects then? Won't it be worth your user's time to use your projects?
The more I think of it, the more I see the potential in using our individual talents to create something that's universal in nature.
On my part, this year, I intend to focus more on writing than on any other thing. Instead of blogging as a hobby, I intend to make it my profession, and write article and books that can help improve someone's life in some way.
And I can do that only if I let my creativity and experience mix with my entrepreneurial side. I hope you, too, will awaken the entrepreneur in you, and let it grow and shine with the things you produce for the world to use.
Let the entrepreneur in you take charge of your creative energy, and guide that energy to create things that you can proudly share with the world.
There is always enough room for any entrepreneur who is willing to work hard to make his dreams come true. So, why not me and you be the ones who do so?
